THE FIRST COHORT

A small beta.
A considered approach.

We’re bringing together 10 teams to test where contextual advertising can add value—for users, publishers, and advertisers.

01 /

Tell us about your chat.

Share your product, audience, and conversation volume. A short application is all it takes to start.

02 /

Find the right fit.

We’ll review your application and discuss suitable contexts, placement options, and what a useful test would measure.

03 /

Shape a focused test.

Selected teams help define the integration and test scope before anything goes live. No revenue or ad fill is guaranteed.

YOUR PRODUCT COMES FIRST

An ad should fit
the conversation.
And your standards.

We’re designing the beta around publisher choice, clear labeling, and a deliberate approach to data.

PLANNED BETA PRINCIPLES

01

You decide where it belongs.

Agreed placements, category restrictions, competitor exclusions, and frequency limits.

02

Make the sponsorship clear.

A visible Sponsored label separates an ad from an AI response or your own product recommendations.

03

Start with explicit permission.

Opt in to an agreed test and retain the ability to pause. Application alone never turns ads on.

Exact capabilities, data flows, and terms will be agreed with each selected team before testing.

IS THIS FOR YOUR TEAM?

You build the conversation.
Let’s explore what’s next.

We’d like to hear from teams that:

  • Operate an AI chat or conversational service
  • Serve or target an audience in the United States
  • Can authorize ad placements in their product
  • Want to test revenue without losing product control

Your headquarters can be anywhere. We review each application for fit.

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW

Good questions.

Is AdThread available to integrate today?

AdThread is recruiting its first closed beta cohort. We’ll review your service, discuss fit, and agree on a test plan before any integration or ad placement. Applying does not activate advertising.

Will this replace our chatbot?

No. The beta is for teams that operate their own AI conversation experience. The goal is to explore contextual sponsorships alongside your existing product, with any integration agreed during onboarding.

Does our company have to be based in the US?

No. Your company can be based anywhere. For this cohort, your conversational service should serve or target users in the United States, and your team must have authority over its ad placements.

How much revenue can we expect?

We don’t promise a revenue amount or guaranteed ad fill. The beta is intended to evaluate advertiser demand, contextual fit, user experience, and potential publisher economics. Any commercial terms will be discussed before a test.

What control will our team have?

Publisher control is central to the planned beta: explicit opt-in, agreed placements, category and competitor restrictions, frequency limits, and the ability to pause. The precise controls and test scope will be agreed before launch.

What happens to private conversations?

This application asks only for business and service information. Do not submit chat transcripts, customer files, credentials, or sensitive personal information. Applying does not connect your service or authorize sharing its conversations. Any proposed test data flow will be reviewed with you before integration.
